“The King of Forgotten and In-Between”
—After “Sea” by BTS

By Lindsay Stenico

Not quite a dream, nor a memory to recall. A place where
the two intermingle in a dance long forgotten, there
exists a realm, the heartland of sweet Spring, and is
where songbirds spin eternal dances threaded with glittering smiles, blooming of faithless hope.
But I long to see beyond the edges, where the forest flourishes in moonlight and there
the stars hide among the shadows. A place where the King is Twilight, and they are
singing my name on the breeze, but Spring bares her fangs, and the days are heartbroken trials.
